Document Procurement - Death Certificate

Death certificate is a document issued by the Municipality/Government authority of the place where death took place, stating the date, fact and cause of death. It is essential to register death for relieving the deceased from social, legal and official obligations, and to enable settlement of property inheritance, and to authorize the family to collect insurance and other benefits. S2NRI will search the concerned Municipality office based on date and place of death to find the registration record of death. S2NRI will require an authorization letter from applicant in favor of S2NRI to request for Death Certificate. S2NRI will scan an image of the certificate and send it via email, where physical delivery is needed within India, S2NRI will send it by courier Free of cost, international courier will be charged extra.


S2NRI will endeavor its best efforts to get the document issued in English, however S2NRI will not be responsible for the issuance of document in vernacular language. S2NRI cannot be held responsible for any bureaucratic delays or due to insufficient or delayed information/documentation provided by the client
